"A daylong community celebration of bicycles and all things bicycle related", Hip-Ebikes was proud to be a part of MEC Bikefest 2010 at the Halifax Commons on June 6, 2010. Hip-Ebikes joined Mountain Equipment Co-op as well as other exhibitors to create a great opportunity for awareness, latest in equipment, workshops, bike donations or just to have fun with family, friends and community. |

2010 1st Annual Annapolis Valley Bicycle Poker Run
Bike enthusiast gives one of ours a try |
On Sunday May 16th, Hip-Ebikes along with its partners, Clean Nova Scotia, Mountain Equipment Co-Op and Nova Scotians promoting Active-transportation on Community Trails hosted the first Annual Annapolis Valley Bicycle Poker Run. We proudly helped raise $250.00 for our local chapter, the equivalent of 2 new wheelchairs.

2010 Alternative Trails of the Annapolis Valley Acadia University (Wolfville Newcomers Group)

Hip-Ebikes gladly accepted an invitation to speak at Acadia University's Irving Center Auditorium to the Wolfville Newcomers Group about the Alternative Trails of the Annapolis Valley.
Robb guided the newcomers through accessible trails, short (under 10kms) medium (under 20kms) and long (30kms plus), also mapping out the beautiful Gaspereau Mountain Trail, the Little River Lake trail system and the Butler Road to Upper Falmouth Route.

2009 MS Bike Tour
Always happy to meet new friends |
In 2009 Hip-Ebikes participated in the MS Bike Tour in Windsor Nova Scotia. As the first electric bicycle to ever participate in the Tour, Hip-Ebikes proudly finished first for a great cause.
